Rent a Boat with TI River Rentals

THINGS TO KNOW:

A $2,500 Security Deposit will be run as an authorization only on a credit card at time of pick up in case of damage (renter will be responsible for ANY & ALL damage if over $2,500). Sales Tax and Security Deposit are not included in listed rental prices.  Reservations are suggested and must be paid in full at the time of reservation to be valid. You may cancel 10 days prior to your reservation for a full refund. After the 10 day period there will be no refunds, a raincheck will be issued for any unused time.  The raincheck will be valid until the end of the following season.  All safety and coast guard equipment is provided for you. Gas levels will be notated on the check out form, the boat must be returned with the same level of fuel and will be verified at check in.  We do not sell gas but there are three gas stations located at the Alexandria Bay municipal docks at the entrance of Otter Creek.  Prices and boats are subject to change at any time.  Our boats are not allowed in Lake Ontario.  Boating between Sunset and Sunrise is prohibited.  Renter must be 21 Years of Age and have boating experience.

You are able to boat in Canadian waters, however, you are not allowed to stop, anchor, fish or touch land without calling Canadian Customs at 888-226-7277 or checking in at a reporting station.  You may experience large fines if you don’t adhere to their laws so we suggest you educate yourself before trying to visit Canada.  Please also note that you are not allowed to have alcoholic beverages on board in Canadian waters (the fine is per person on the boat).  You will also have to report back into the US if you receive a reporting number in Canada upon your return.

Pick up time is anytime after 9:00 am and the return time is by 5:00pm. If you have rented the boat for multiple days you do not need to return it until your last day as long as you have safe and ample dockage arranged.  We do offer dockage at our location if needed at no extra cost.

The following rental rules and policies apply to all reservations and to all vessels.  

Renter takes full responsibility for the vessel and is not allowed to re-rent or allow usage by another party.  

Renter is to adhere to all no wake zones in particular between Aqua-Mania, Inc and the St. Lawrence Seaway (5MPH).  

Renter will obey all navigation laws of all enforcement agencies.  Any violations are the responsibility of the renter and will cause automatic loss of rental usage and security deposit.  Renter shall maintain and operate the vessel in a careful, safe and seaworthy manner and in compliance of all laws.  All children under 12 years old must wear an approved life vest.  NO driving under the influence of alcohol / or any illegal substance.  Smoking is not allowed on the vessel.  

Renter represents that he/she is at least 21 years of age to rent and operate the vessel. 

Any mechanical problems must be reported within two (2) hours of failure.  Renter is not allowed to go to another marina or establishment for repair of the vessel without consent and direction of TI River Rentals, LLC. 

All damage to vessel shall be paid at time of return.  Any damages unpaid at time of return shall cause daily downtime charges to accumulate and be added to the unpaid balance due.  All damage repairs shall require manufacturer replacement parts. If damage prevents future reservations to be cancelled, renter is responsible for lost revenue as well.    

Any collection or legal fees required to collect monies due to TI River Rentals, LLC are the responsibility of the renter.  

Absolutely no refunds shall be given by the Rental Agent.  Any request for a full refund must be addressed by management.

All reservations must be cancelled within ten (10) days of the reservation to receive a full refund.  Cancellations must be received via phone or email.  If the reservation is cancelled within the 10 days prior to the reservation, rain checks will be issued as long as we receive notification before 9am on the day of the rental.  

Gas in not included in the rental fee.  It is the responsibility of the renter to replenish the gas they used during their rental.  The fuel level will be notated on the check out form and the renter is responsible to return the vessel with the same level.  If the boat is returned without the same level there will be a fee of $50 for us to refuel plus the current per gallon price on the water.  

All garbage, food, trash, bottles, etc as well as all personal belongings must be removed from the vessel by the renters or a cleaning fee of $50 will be assessed. 

The return time is 5pm.  If you arrive after your designated return time the renter will be charged according to the lost income caused by the renters delay and/or an hourly fee of $100.  

The use of the vessel before sunrise or after sunset is strictly prohibited.  

No landing, anchoring, fishing or docking in Canada without checking into Canadian Customs and US Customs upon return.  

Any foul or disrespectful behavior shall result in immediate loss of rental, security deposit or rain check. 

The Rental Agent, Management and Owner of TI River Rentals, LLC or Aqua-Mania, Inc reserves the right to cancel the rental for any reason at which time a refund will be available unless the above rules and policies are violated.  

The Vessel is to be used at Renter’s sole risk.  TI River Rentals, LLC shall not be liable for the care, security or protection of the vessel including but not limited to the vessel’s gear, equipment, contents or for any loss or damage of whatever kind to the vessel.
